12 Things To Do Over Fall Break
Emily Grace Denhart

It's midterms time, which means countless papers, projects, exams and presentations. It's that half way point in the semester that forces everyone to buckle down and get serious about every class for two weeks. Midterms in many ways are worse than finals. There is always multiple things due during these two weeks before fall break. But luckily at DePauw, we get an entire week off for fall break, which is beyond a blessing. I have come up with a few things that you could do over this week off of school:

1. Read a book. Buy a novel and spend the week just lounging around reading. Or pick a new series and binge watch episodes for a week.

2. Go to an apple orchard or pumpkin patch.

3. Go visit your friends at other universities.

4. Visit your grandparents or other relatives.

5. Start a new workout routine.

6. Bake something different every day.

7. Get ahead on your school work.

8. SLEEP. We all could use some more sleep.

9. Go shopping - sweater weather get cozy.

10. Travel - spend the week on beach or anywhere, but here.

11. Get a hair cut.

12. Simply enjoy yourself and take in every moment of free time you have.

Epic Creation Myths: Norse Origins Unveiled

What happened in the beginning, and how the heavens were set in motion.

The Norse Creation Myth

Now, I have the everlasting joy of explaining the Norse creation myth. To be honest, it can be a bit kooky, so talking about it is always fun. The entire cosmos is included in this creation myth, not just the earth but the sun and the moon as well. This will be a short retelling, a summary of the creation myth, somewhat like I did with Hermod's ride to Hel.
