The second-youngest sibling from Narnia is always referred to as the black sheep. Edmund Pevensie doesn't fit in, and he was the one to betray his family to the White Witch. He fell to temptation. But he's also to one that might be most realistic. We all make mistakes and sometimes they're pretty bad. Edmund is very similar to us in many ways. There are so many things that we can learn from him. We all want to be a strong leader like Peter, beautiful like Susan and faithful like Lucy, but in reality, we are all like Edmund.

1. All traitors can mend.

Edmund was considered a traitor in the land of Narnia. Even though this made him seem awful and unable to repair what seemed to be broken, he surprised us. He was able to repair the trust and hearts of his family and of Aslan’s army.

2. It's okay to make mistakes.

He made a huge mistake in going with the White Witch, and he’s made many mistakes throughout his journeys, but that doesn’t make him worthless.

3. You must learn from your mistakes.

Even though he made mistakes, he tried his hardest to learn from them. He never fell into the witch’s trap after the first time.

4. You can't erase the past, but you can get over it.

He knows he can’t forget or change what he did, but he is able to get over it and even redeems himself from what happened. Aslan even told his family that there wasn't a need to talk to Edmund about the past.

5. Heroes come in all shapes and sizes.

Edmund is more of a hero than his siblings sometimes. He’s a subtle hero. He keeps his other siblings calm in the midst of potential issue. Between him and his older brother, he is the calmer one.

6. Forgiving yourself takes time.

He still doesn’t completely forgive himself after he betrayed his family. They forgave him long ago, but he still remembers his mistakes and it can be seen with comments he makes to his siblings.

7. Everyone deserves to be saved.

Aslan, the king of Narnia, took Edmund’s place at the Stone Table. A traitor's blood is to be shed at the Stone Table, and Edmund was a traitor to his family by helping the White Witch. Aslan still paid the price and made the ultimate sacrifice for Edmund.

8. Everyone deserves a second chance.

Edmund takes Lucy’s side the second time they’re in Narnia. He realized that the last time he and his other siblings didn’t believe Lucy they all looked pretty stupid. Edmund tried to take a second chance and Lucy gave it to him.

Tamatoa created a liar filled with shiny things simply for the purpose of tricking fish to enter and become his food. He too experiences a lesson in how easy it is to be tricked by shiny things when Moana distracts him by covering herself in glowing algae so Maui can grab his hook.

Epic Creation Myths: Norse Origins Unveiled

What happened in the beginning, and how the heavens were set in motion.

The Norse Creation Myth

Now, I have the everlasting joy of explaining the Norse creation myth. To be honest, it can be a bit kooky, so talking about it is always fun. The entire cosmos is included in this creation myth, not just the earth but the sun and the moon as well. This will be a short retelling, a summary of the creation myth, somewhat like I did with Hermod's ride to Hel.
