Final Week Struggles

a small list of final week thoughts

Final Week Struggles

Here is a list about struggling through finals week:

1. If it's nice outside, being inside a stinky, sweaty, old library seems like hell. So instead of raining this summer, if it could rain constantly for the entire finals week then I would never leave the library and study my brains out.

2. If you don't have a water bottle and gum, you might as well just take a nap instead of do work. Both keep ya going.

3. If Starbucks shuts down the first morning of finals week and none of the other campus cafes are open until 11am, good luck.

4. If you just climbed to the highest level of the library and then realized you left your book at home, I am severely sorry - take the elevator.

5. If you are finally honed in on what you are studying and you have been doing a great job ignoring your phone notifications, then you get a phone call, come back ten minutes later and you're focus is out the window swirling away with the wind.

6. If you put all of your study materials in a class room, and the clean crews lock you out of the classroom, it's okay to start crying.

7. If you spend an entire day typing the best paper of your life to turn in by 8pm and you go to print your paper at 7:50 and you quickly learn you are out of printing money - it's okay to start crying.

8. If you are sitting in a final and you have flipped through the test and answered all the ones you know. You probably don't want to be in that classroom anymore so stop praying the answers are just going to pop into your head. Attempt an answer for them, get up and turn it in. There is no need to sit there for four hours.

9. If you've been sitting down studying for more than two hours, get up and take a lap around your building.

10. If you're taking your last final and you choose not to smile as you turn it in, you probably are a very sad human.

Good luck with your finals. happy summer! (almost).

#blessed.

Tamatoa created a liar filled with shiny things simply for the purpose of tricking fish to enter and become his food. He too experiences a lesson in how easy it is to be tricked by shiny things when Moana distracts him by covering herself in glowing algae so Maui can grab his hook.

Epic Creation Myths: Norse Origins Unveiled

What happened in the beginning, and how the heavens were set in motion.

The Norse Creation Myth

Now, I have the everlasting joy of explaining the Norse creation myth. To be honest, it can be a bit kooky, so talking about it is always fun. The entire cosmos is included in this creation myth, not just the earth but the sun and the moon as well. This will be a short retelling, a summary of the creation myth, somewhat like I did with Hermod's ride to Hel.
